Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jamagi (the "Service"), you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Jamagi is a real-time translated subtitle service for live streamers. It processes your voice during a broadcast and delivers translated subtitles as a browser-source overlay for streaming software such as OBS and Streamlabs.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
One free trial is provided per person. Creating multiple accounts to bypass trial limits is prohibited.

4. Billing and Refunds

Subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed through an external payment provider. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period and are charged at the then-current rate until cancelled.

The Starter and Pro plans include a monthly hour allowance. If you exceed it, the overage rate shown for that plan applies. Overage is calculated in real time during your broadcast and is charged automatically once the outstanding balance reaches ₩10,000. Smaller balances are charged at your next renewal or upon cancellation.

You may cancel at any time through your account settings or customer support. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

The following are prohibited:

Transmitting unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
Reverse engineering, copying, or reselling any part of the Service
Overloading or interfering with the Service infrastructure
Abnormal bulk usage through automated tools, bots, or similar means
Violating any applicable law or regulation

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and technology that make up the Service are owned by Jamagi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your own broadcast content.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee 100% translation accuracy. Real-time AI translation is inherently imperfect and must not be used for safety-critical applications.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jamagi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us during the 12 months in which the claim arose, or (b) ₩100,000.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jamagi and its operator from all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) content you transmit, broadcast, translate, or display through the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your infringement of any law or third-party right.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and any related disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Seoul Central District Court shall have jurisdiction.

12. Termination

If you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, fail to pay, or act in a way that may harm the Service, other users, or third parties, we may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without prior notice.

13. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Together with the Privacy Policy, these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Jamagi regarding the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
